Tough Mudder Scotland - Full · 26 January 2018

The SCCMI is a national Centre providing a range of education, therapy, care and family support services to children aged 0-19 with profound and multiple learning disabilities and who are affected by neurological and life limiting conditions, including cerebral palsy and Rett syndrome.

Story

Hello!

Myself and some equally mental family & friends are taking part in the full tough mudder on 16th June 2018.

I have decided to get off my sofa, stop eating pizza and drinking wine (well, maybe not totally!) and do something worthwhile for The Craighalbert Centre who are a valuable facility to many children all over the country - including our 2 year old daughter Chloe. Chloe currently attends a weekly class completely free of charge which she can attend until she is 3, then will continue on to their 3-5 group.

As most of you know, Chloe has had lots of developmental delays and some medical issues such as epilepsy which we now have a diagnosis for. She has a rare genetic condition called Mowat-Wilson Syndrome. Watching her struggle with all the things we take for granted on a daily basis, such as walking and talking, has been my inspiration for this as anyone who knows me will know that 'fit and exercise' are not something I (and some others in the team-sorry guys) are associated with. Getting through this is nothing compared to the lifetime of struggles she, and many others, have to contend with so please dig deep and give generously!

Big shout out to my fellow Tough Mudders who I can't thank enough for supporting me in this madness!

Mark Donlevy - Husband & Daddy Extraordinaire

Scott Sutherland - Chloe's Uncle

Jamie Wilson - Chloe's big cousin

Stevo McEwen

Laura McMillan

Susan Ramsay

*****Extra big shout out to our other amazing daughter & superstar big sister Aimee who will be participating in the kids 'Mini Mudder' to raise funds!*****
