For my Bat Mitzvah, I am doing a sponsored swim in aid of KEF.  I will be swimming 5km between now and my Bat Mitzvah on 26 March 2022.

KEF is very important to me because it provides amazing activities and respite for my sister, Sophia, who has physical and mental disabilities. KEF takes lots of children on fun residential holidays and trips, and they run an activity club every Sunday. By donating money you will make lots of children like Sophia happy and give them the opportunity to have the fun they deserve.  Without KEF, there are very few, if any, opportunities for children like Sophia to access fun activities or to experience a holiday made just for them.

I have set my fundraising target to cover the cost of a child attending a summer residential.  By way of example, the amount of money that you donate could contribute towards the following:

• £20+ would cover the cost of toys, games or specialist sensory equipment for the KEF centre 
• £65 would cover the cost of a child attending a club on Sunday
• £100 would cover the cost of a music therapy session 
• £150 would cover the cost of a supper at club
• £180 would cover the cost of an entertainer at club
• £500 would cover the cost of a siblings event 
• £1000 would cover the cost of transport for a holiday day-trip
• £1500 would cover the cost of a child attending winter residential at KEF
• £3300 would cover the cost of a child attending summer residential at KEF
