I became aware of Beechwood Cancer Care in 2014, after working with them on a film project. A lot of charities do amazing work for illness prevention but Beechwood was the first one I had become aware of that helped families deal with a terminal diagnosis. They help both terminally ill patients and their families come to terms with what is going to happen, this includes support in explaining (often to very young children) what is going to happen. 

Their work is invaluable to so many people, but they rely on donations alone to keep the centre open and keep helping families in the most desperate of times. Having heard stories first hand I am in no doubt how important the centre is, I'd really appreciate it if you could sponsor me to run the Great Manchester Run for this truly incredible charity.
