I have decided to run the Bath Half Marathon for Childrens Hospice South West. 

One of their hospices is located at Charlton Farm and is based in North Somerset. It aims to support families emotionally and physically as sadly, their children are not expected to live into adulthood. As their website states, this does not make Carlton Farm a sad place, although, sadnesses are faced together.

It is a safe haven for children and their families where they are able to have a break and lots of fun. I have had the privilege of visiting Charlton Farm twice and it is a very beautiful place. Inside the building they have eight child friendly rooms, some of them being a craft room, sensory room, ball pit and climbing area and an outside play area, along with lots of other things.

At Charlton Farm does not receive any government funding, it purely relies on generous donations from the public.
