I will be sleeping out, to help out on 12^th May 2022. It will be a very small glimpse into the reality that rough sleepers deal with every day, I will be joined by other business leaders helping to raise funds to support Porchlight Kent and CEO Sleepout UK, who are attempting to tackle homelessness in all its forms.

Porchlight’s frontline teams already bring hope and help to vulnerable people in Kent who are forced to sleep rough, or face losing their homes. But there's so much more to do. Lockdown safety nets that helped the poorest people in our communities keep a roof over their heads have been ripped away. Relationships are breaking down. Families are falling apart. People’s mental health is suffering. In 2021 Porchlight took referrals for more than 1000 people who were rough sleeping, and our free helpline received over 33,000 calls. The number of people needing our help has risen steeply, and as the full impact of the pandemic and the rising cost of living starts to take hold, we're bracing ourselves for worse.

CEO Sleepout is a charity motivated to fight homelessness due to
the shockingly high numbers of people facing housing crisis in the UK. They facilitate sleep out events across the country for business leaders to help raise money for local charities changing lives in their communities.
