Story
Me and my son Dylan along with my sisters Felicity and Colette are cycling the 16 miles from Penge High Street to Greenwich and back on 16 June 2019 in support of Myeloma UK.
I was diagnosed with myeloma, a type of bone marrow cancer, in January of this year. I’m about halfway through six months of chemotherapy and will have a stem cell transplant in the autumn. After that, I’ll hopefully go into remission for a good few years.
There’s no cure for myeloma yet. But thanks to charities like Myeloma UK, who fund research and clinical trials, it’s now very treatable, and the treatments are getting better all the time.
Please sponsor us so we can help Myeloma UK fund more research and keep supporting people with myeloma and their families.
