The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the ABC (the Airbase Challenge 2014) which is a cycling event that takes the route to all 3 of Wales' Air Ambulance Bases; Caernarfon, Welshpool and Swansea.  It will definately be a physically demanding challenge for me but with a good team spirit and some training rides it should be a good few days making money for this worthy cause.

I am extremly proud of the Air Ambulance as I get to see first hand what an amazing service it provides to the people of Wales.  As an active crew member with the Swansea Based Aircraft, it will be a great way to raise money as it is funded entirely by charitable donations.

The training will be tough, the event will tough but I am privilaged to see what the money raised will provide to the patients of the Wales Air Ambulance.

Thank you for visiting and donating to the Wales Air Ambulance.

Chris
