Story

Chris and Clare are delighted to be taking part in Katie's Hebridean Cycle Challenge from 15th - 19th July 2010. Along with over 100 others, we aim to cycle from North Uist in the Outer Hebrides all the way down to Barra in the South - a trip of over 100 miles.  Clare wants to be sponsored by the mile for those of you who doubt her fitness ;-)

Katie McKerracher was diagnosed with Diffuse Pontine Glioma, an inoperable brain tumour, in February 2008 and very sadly lost her battle with the disease in January last year, aged just eleven. Inspired by their daughter's bravery and determination throughout her illness, her parents Andrew and Ann have set up the Katie McKerrcher Trust to help other families cope with the devastating impact of such an illness.

All the money raised will go towards supporting the Katie McKerracher Trust. To read more about Katie's Charity, please click on the link below   www.katiemckerrachertrust.co.uk
