PRS for music don't just represent the likes of Ed Sheeran and Paul McCartney, they also have millions of members just like me, who strive (and struggle) to earn a living through music. Their service ensures that we get fairly compensated when our music is performed or broadcast to an audience. This is a big help and allows us to focus on creative tasks and advancing our careers without having to constantly chase people for money.

Their benevolent fund is in place to help any of their members (or member's relatives) in times of crisis, such as critical illness or death. If a member is unable to work/perform due to illness, or their relatives are hit financially due to their death, then the benevolent fund can provide vital support.

Hopefully i'll never need it, but i'm glad it's there just in case! That's why I want to raise some money for this awesome cause!
