Story
Well, it's that time again!
This year I'll be running in the Middlesbrough 10k Tees Pride Road Race for Hartlepool and District Hospice.
It goes without saying that any hospice does fantastic work, by supporting terminally ill patients and their families during the most difficult and distressing period of their lives. Hartlepool and District Hospice exists to ensure people affected by life limiting illnesses or the death of a loved one have the care, comfort, and support they need.
I know times are hard, but one thing I hope we can all count on during this recession is the good health and wellbeing of friends and family. Please, please, give what you can afford to support those experiencing a different kind of hardship. I've set an ambitious fundraising target of £200, but I know loads of people so even if everyone gave a pound, I'd be well on the way.
I'm hoping to beat my PB of 48.52 during the event, and am not exactly in the shape I need to be in to achieve this! I'll be hoofing it up and down Seaton Carew sea front over the next four weeks, so please donate as much as you can afford in recognition of my suffering!
Take care, and thank you.
Love, Chris. :)
