Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please take the time to read below...

I’ve decided to challenge myself and run my first ever marathon with the aim of completing this under 4 hours.

As well as completing this for self achievement, I also want to raise money for a charity that deserves it - Pet Respect. As an animal lover myself they hold a special place in my heart.

In case you’ve never heard of them, Pet Respect are an animal education charity who operate in the Hull and East Riding area which is run entirely by volunteersBy using innovative ideas they promote responsible pet ownership and anti-animal cruelty addressing issues of bullying and promoting the golden rule in life - treat others how you would like to be treated yourself.

On a personal level Pet Respect have helped me throughout difficult times in my life, I have seen first hand the fantastic work they do volunteering within schools and the local community, passing on their knowledge to people regardless of age or background.

By donating, however little or large, please know that you are giving to a great cause. Your support will make a massive difference to the project. Pet Respect and I are forever grateful.

Many thanks,

Chris H
