On the 24^th March 2018 I will be taking to the dance floor and hoping to wow the crowds in the annual Strictly Air Ambulance event to raise money for Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.

As a complete ballroom novice, I have the daunting task of learning two dances and then together with my exceptionally talented professional dancer, Zoe Jeffery, competing against five other couples all wanting to impress the judges and lift the coveted glitter ball trophy.

After one of the Critical Care Paramedics won the event last time, I have a lot to live up to! However, win or lose I know that I’ll be doing my best to raise money for an amazing cause.

Joining Essex and Herts Air Ambulance in May 2017 I was immediately struck by how professional, caring and skilful the team of pilots, doctors and paramedics are. It is a wonderful privilege to be part of that team and to have the opportunity to deliver the highest level of pre-hospital critical care to the most seriously ill and injured in our region.

Our life saving service is supported by a team of extremely dedicated and passionate charity staff and volunteers and through the unwavering generosity of the people and businesses of Essex, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas, the charity is able to remain airborne and continue to provide a first class pre-hospital emergency medical service.
