I shall jumping into the chilly, inky black waters of Salford Quays at 10:30am on July 1st 2012 and swimming a one mile course. I'll be aiming to complete the swim in less than 45 minutes. It'll be cold and tiring so I will well and truly earn every penny that you are kind enough to donate. Later in the year the event will be shown on Channel 4 so watch out for the Great Manchester Swim and you may see me. Even better, how about coming down and cheering me on.
