We’re the 10 million people living with arthritis in the UK. The carers, researchers and healthcare professionals. The family, friends and fundraisers. United by a clear vision: a future free from arthritis. One in which no one is limited by the pain, fatigue and isolation that arthritis can cause.

Story

In 2013 I had a total hip replacement after years of pain. Unfortunately the procedure didn't go to plan and I was left unable to work for a long period and left with very little feeling in my foot. To make matters worse a trip to Africa to lift my spirits saw me contract Malaria and as a result I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis in December 2014.

There are days where this illness leaves me unable to pick up my children and perform the most basic of everyday tasks we all take for granted. I am not alone. Some of you may have seen the TV advertising campaign for Versus Arthritis. This terrible condition affects so many people who suffer on a daily basis. There are often no physical signs which means people's understanding of Arthritis is limited. Below is an explanation of the work Versus Arthritis do. Please give whatever you can.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.Millions of people wake up with arthritis every morning and face the day in pain, without the support and recognition they deserve. Arthritis attacks what it means to live and people with arthritis are often left to manage alone.Versus Arthritis invests in breakthrough treatments, the best information and vital support for everyone affected by arthritis.
