I set up APEx because I believe passionately in exercise as a way to achieve and maintain positive mental health.

I've set myself the challenge of swimming from New Brighton Lighthouse to Dove Point at Meols - approximately 8 miles. If the weather and conditions are good, I may even attempt to swim on to Hilbre Island!  I'm aiming to swim on either 29 or 30 August 2012, depending on conditions.
