Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for Special Olympics GB because they are a great charity but are not government funded and need caring people to help raise money. They are doing wonderful things in helping children with learning (intellectual) difficulties, on all levels, not just elite. I almost had the opportunity to be a volunteer coach with Special Olympics GB earlier this year, so was made more aware of what great work they do, and this has helped motivate me to do something to help them.

So i am going to do a sky dive to help raise money for them. any amount of money will help, no matter how small, so please help me start raising.

I will hopefully be diving in one of the weekends in February, though not sure which weekend it is just yet.

Lastly...their athletes motto (for anyone who is not aware of Special Olympics or their inner workings) is...

"Let me win, but if i cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt"

About the charity

Special Olympics GB is the largest provider of year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults of ALL abilities with intellectual disabilities. With more than 6,500 athletes, we are so much more than just a sport organisation - we genuinely transform lives.
