Story
On October 23rd 2011 our identical twin girls arrived unexpectedly at 27 weeks. Lucy was the first out. She was too sick for the doctors to save and she died in my arms whilst her little sister Abigail was born. Abigail was 480g and apart from being the smallest baby the paediatricians had ever seen she did fantastically well. After 5 months in hospital and two heart operations she is thriving and looking at a bright future.
BLISS is a charity which funds research into improving care for very premature babies. Abigail had a rough start in life but thanks to the fantastic care she had in several different hospitals she is fast becoming a normal child.
All the money that I raise goes into Lucy’s precious star foundation. When we have raised £5000 for BLISS she gets a star named after her! Thanks for helping us get there.
