On May 31st 2008 I lost my father to non Hodgkin lymphoma, followed a month later by my grandfather to pancreatic cancer.

Both of these men were a huge part of my life and I wanted to do something different to help others who were fighting their own cancer related battles.

After a little research I came across the Little Princess charity and decided that that was what I would do, grow my hair and donate it to be made into a wig for a little boy or girl who had lost their own hair during treatment, allowing them to feel a little better in a small way. I grew my hair for 3 years and had it cut off....

I decided I wanted to do it again and donate 9 inches on the May 31st 2018, the 10th anniversary of my fathers death, to celebrate his life and in the process be able to help towards someone who is not having the best time at the moment.
