Story

One of my most promising students was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (a form of Bone Cancer) at the age of 11 years old. He has been through months of intense chemotherapy and has lost his left leg to the illness yet has battled it every inch of the way... whilst laughing, joking and dancing to 'Dancing Queen' by ABBA (which he'll never hear the end of).

His hair started falling out a few months ago so he shaved it clean off. Now it's my turn. If we hit the target of £200 I'll be bald for a month, whereas if we hit £500 I'll be bald for 3 months but we want to raise as much as possible so please don't stop there if we hit it.

The charity I've chosen is CHICS in Liverpool ( http://www.chicsonline.org/liverpool.html ) because this is a charity that helps a great deal with childhood cancer locally.

I'll be starting this on the 1st of January (1 month from today), so hopefully it'll be the 1st of April before I have any hair again :).
