RECLAIM powers young working-class people to change the country today and lead it tomorrow. We exist to create a Britain where people from working-class backgrounds are proud of – and not held back by – our roots.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

As you know watching football and cricket is my game, with the occastional game of darts, so this is what I am going to be up to.

Myself and a group from Cisco are going to walk the highest Mountains in Yorkshire !!

The Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge is a 24 mile (40km) walk climbing the peaks of Pen y Ghent (694m), Ingleborough (723m) and Whernside (736m) a total of 1600m (5000ft) in the space of 12 hours.  Not for the faint hearted but just perfect for for the crazy people who make up our team.

We do this to raise money for a fabulous charity called RECLAIM www.reclaim.org.co.uk

RECLAIM is a youth leadership and social change organisation set up in Moss side.  They use their experience and platforms to support and amplify the voices of working class young people. They run leadership programmes for12-15 year olds from working class communities and support them through an Alumni Network until they are 22.  RECLAIM enable young people to believe in themselves allowing them to step on to the national stages with confidence in their authentic leadership. Jasmine age 13 explained " We shouldn't judge a person by their postcode"
