Story

Hi everyone and thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 1st of December 2021, we received the worst news imaginable, that our darling Christina had suffered a fatal pulmonary embolism (blood clot on the lung), at the age of 41 years.

Christina was one of the most caring people anyone could meet. Her passion for animal care started a long time ago with family pets and developed in to a career as a veterinary nurse most recently at Aurora Veterinary Practice for the last 10 years.

Of the many pets Christina has had over the years, two of them (both cats) had been adopted from Mrs Murray's Cat and Dog home in Aberdeen.

Mrs Murray's does a fantastic job in caring and rehoming unwanted or stray animals in the local area and we have chosen to support this charity in Christina's memory.
