Hey there!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I first heard of this charity, Breakthrough Breat Cancer, through a friend at university who is an avid supporter for breast cancer awareness.

In the summer of 2011, I completed the 5Km Race for Life with my mum and managed to raise a good amount of money for the cause between us.

Today, many of us, know of at least one person who has suffered from cancer. A number of people in my family have been diagnosed with cancer, not all survived. My cousin, who is only 2 years older than me was diagnosed at the age of 16. He managed to beat it and is alive and well today. It is because of these charities and people fundraising and volunterring that more and more people are able to fight and win against this disease everyday.

This year, I would like to try and make an even bigger contribution, with your help, in preventing, diagnosing and increasing the number of people who can and will survive.
