Serens story,

Seren was born extremely premature at 25 weeks weighing just 741g and was drama from the start! She spent the next 9 months in hospital fighting for her life. She suffered NEC of the bowel, bleeding on the brain, sepsis, severe liver failure, chronic lung disease, various emergency surgeries... honestly the list is so long. 

At 4 months old she had an MRI that showed such significant brain damage from the infections and antibiotics that we were told she would never accomplish anything. No quality of life, no cognitive or physical development... she'd be a shell.

Serens list of disability’s is extensive but the most prominent diagnosis is quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

However at almost 5 years old Seren is a happy, smiling, amazing little girl. She has had amazing support from charities to aid in her development

She can sit and bum shuffle, play with toys, sign and communicate wants and needs. She has personality and attitude! She's even started taking steps with aids, all things we were told would be impossible for her.

With the threats of COVID-19 these charities are being left behind and they desperately need our help to carry on with the amazing support they offer.

I want to help to secure Serens and other children’s future for the amazing work that charities do to help children reach the next mile stone.

So to do this I am going to brave the shave to raise funds for Kangaroo’s who will be supporting Seren in the next phase of her development. so I really need your help to reach my target of £200
