Less than a year ago I could never have foreseen myself taking part in a marathon team relay never mind actually working for such an amazing organisation… NICHS. Not only did NICHS help me in my recovery from Long Covid through the Care Services programme ‘Taking Control’ but they helped me get my life back again. By witnessing the work of the charity firsthand during a very vulnerable & difficult time, I made it my mission to one day work within the organisation and as of June last year I began my professional journey as a Health Promotion Officer for the organisation.
