As many of you know, my sister Christina was diagnosed with cancer in October 2015. As I write this, she has been told she has a few weeks to live. And you know what? Her last weeks are about as damn fine as they could possibly be. Partly due to the love and care of her many wonderful friends. Partly due to her own ability to love and be loved. But also due to the fantastic support from St Leonard's Hospice. Anywhere that says "ok, so you can't drink fluids. Do you want us to make you up a gin & tonic ice lolly to lick on?" gets my vote. (She is eating and drinking normally again now btw).

Christina, her daughter Robyn, mum Janet, sister Sue, brother Mike and her many amazing friends want others to get the same love, care, pain relief (yes, it's important) and support as she is getting now,. But the work at St Leonard's is 73% funded from public donations. And that's where this page comes in.

Not all of us can afford big sums, which is why we have not put a fundraising target on his page.  Whether you can give £5...£50 or £500, please do it. It will help ensure someone else is able to get the same amazing care. 

Christina asked me to add this: "I feel happy here. I'm receiving the best care ever. The staff are wonderful. I'm in my bliss."
