Christina's flight to fight blood cancer

Christina's flight to fight blood cancer · 11 October 2019
Every 14 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer. For someone with blood cancer, a stem cell transplant could be their last chance of survival. Anthony Nolan, match incredible people willing to donate their stem cells, to people with blood cancer who are in desperate need of a lifesaving transplant.
As many of you already know I am the president of Lincoln Marrow which is part of the network of lifesaving students who work with the blood cancer charity, Anthony Nolan. There are over 50 Marrow groups, with hundreds of student volunteers (like us!) in universities across the country, who are all working towards one thing - saving the lives of people with blood cancer. Lincoln Marrow has already signed up 169 approved donors onto the register and raised £474.05 for Anthony Nolan. But, we aren't stopping there, after hearing firsthand from the patients Anthony Nolan have helped, we are determined to get as many people onto the register as possible so that no family has to lose somebody whilst waiting for their lifesaving match.
This is what the money I raise could do:
