My employer organizes a charity event every year where approximately 40 employees from around Europe spend a day walking 24 miles (38 km) in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in England. We aim at completing the circular route that includes 1585m of ascent in unpredictable English weather conditions in approximately 12 hours (wish me luck!). In recent years, the company has managed to raise a decent amount of money for an important cause: cancer research. 

So here's the deal: I'll put in the effort of walking and all you have to do is sponsor me with some spare pounds, euros, dollars, guilders, rubles, korunas or whatever currency you happen to use.
