Following the sad deaths of my father - Christopher Carr and my father-in-law John Hollingshead I became very aware of the misery that this terrible disease can bring to the lives of family and friends.

I would pray that in my lifetime a cure would be found and I would never hear of any more friends or members of my family that succumb to this or any other forms of cancer. 

I am delighted to be walking with friends from SlimFit Wokingham  (fitness lifestyle class) Kirsty Ede, Claire Ashton, Barbara Capel,  Karen Duthie, Kylie McCann and Pam Baker - together we are a lucky 7. We are taking this seriously and training hard with many miles already in the bag.
