It was really difficult to choose a charity to support as there are so many worthy causes locally. One close to our hearts is the Shropshire Cat Rescue - they are a small but amazing group of volunteers who dedicate their time to rescuing and looking after abandoned cats. That means that even a few pounds donated to this charity can make a big difference to one of our furry friends.

Now, this walk is a big deal for me - I have never walked 22 miles before and whilst I enjoy a stroll round the park, this is definitely going to be a challenge. I try to donate time and money to charity wherever I can but this is my first sponsored fundraiser - eek! Any donation of whatever size is gratefully received - plus we can claim gift aid on all individual donations made!
