Story

Thanks for supporting my fundraising.

Like a lot of you, the last couple of years have been probably the most difficult of my life. Over the last year especially, I've been surrounded by a ridiculous number of bereavements, two of the hardest hitting being my dad, Bernard Mullen, and my Uncle Stevie Morland.

My brother Michael decided to run the Edinburgh Marathon and raise money in their memory as MacMillan was one of my dad's favourite charities. In solidarity I too have signed myself up.

I've never attempted a marathon or even a half marathon, but if the last couple of years have taught me anything, I can do it. I've made it a habit of aiming for goals I feel I have no business aiming for but it seems to be working even if I am struggling so why should this be any different?

Please donate and share if you can or even come along on the day to show your support!

There will also be a tracker you can follow on the day so you can follow me what will likely be a snail's pace.

Also, I'll be putting up a Spotify playlist link  you can all add to that will be my running mix. My soundtrack will be totally dependent on you guys!
