Despite huge logistical and financial challenges, the Cardinal Hume Centre is managing to keep its hostel open, helping 37 young people to stay safe and off the streets. Every single day they have front-line staff working 24 hours, running everything from cookery lessons to mental health workshops. Very hard to social distance in that environment, but it is vital work that has to continue. And we can help them by partaking in The 2.6 Challenge.

Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income.This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
