On 3rd January 2021, heaven gained an Angel 😇

Cindy, our beautiful, wonderful and caring wife and mum passed away peacefully. We were very lucky to be able to spend her last 12 days together as a family although we know she was in a lot of pain. Pain we couldn’t take away. She fought such a battle and never moaned or complained but in the end her body couldn’t fight any longer.

For her funeral instead of flowers we would kindly ask if people would contribute a donation of any amount to Helen Rollason charity. A charity my mum used several years ago with her battle against breast cancer. It helped her during her recovery after chemotherapy and radiation. Cindy wanted to volunteer once she had retired but was unable to due the current pandemic.

The charity provides support for cancer patients’ emotional well-being alongside their medical treatment continues to be at the core of the charity’s mission.
They support men and women with all types of cancer at all stages – whether newly diagnosed or longer-term, throughout treatment and after treatment is completed.
Providing a welcoming and relaxing environment where people living with cancer can go – with their families, friends and carers – to talk through any concerns or just a friendly chat. Their clients can have therapies that work together with their medical treatment and reduce stress.

If there is one thing we can say from this all, is that cherish every moment with your loved ones. You just never know what challenge is around the corner.

Thank you mum for absolutely everything you have ever done for us! We appreciate everything and you will be with us forever.
