Running the London Marathon is top of my bucket list so I’m absolutely thrilled to have been given this opportunity.

I’ve always been a runner but only in lockdown did I start running with a group. They (now my friends) have encouraged me to run regularly and longer distances. My furthest distance (prior to February 2023) is a half marathon……So I just need to double that on April 23rd!!

I know the training is going to be hard, but come race day I hope to celebrate my achievements, show my children that tough things are possible….and put a big tick on that bucket list!

Action Heart ❤️ is a local charity based at Russell’s Hall Hospital. They provide cardiac rehabilitation for people who have suffered a heart attack, undergone heart surgery or have a heart related condition.
