Megan has set herself the challenge of completing 240km on her rowing machine over three months. This is the equivalent distance from Newcastle Tyne bridge to Edinburgh's Forth Road Bridge via the coastline.  We will keep you updated on her progress as she goes :)

Her efforts starts on Friday 16th October, ending on Friday 15th January. This means she will be rowing all over the Christmas holidays too! We have set ourselves the ambitious challenge of raising £240 which would be £1 for each kilometre Megan rows.  Any support you can give Megan (and the Dragonfly Cancer Trust) would be amazing.

The Dragonfly Cancer Trust is a brilliant local charity that gives support for young palliative cancer patients under the age of 25. They offer patients and their families short breaks away to spend quality time together. They organise very personal last-minute experiences to create moments for all family members to treasure and they donate activity boxes to children's cancer wards to offer a creative focus and distraction for patients during long periods of treatment.
