Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving  page.

For some reason I didn’t feel that my life was challenging enough and have signed up to do the Cardiff Half Marathon in October!! In all seriousness, I started a 0-5k group (Porth Eirias) in January and it has been wonderful for me. Not only have I managed to run whilst managing my asthma, I have improved my fitness and have kept my sanity!! The support from all the members is amazing and keeps me attending twice a week. People talk about exercise helping with mental illness and this is certainly true. I lead a really busy life which could easily swamp me down but having the running club means I can escape all of it and do it for myself.
I signed up to do the Cardiff Half Marathon to give a proper purpose to my running and to give me a goal to aim for.
I wanted to support a local charity so they could too benefit from my running too and to inspire me to keep going. I would be grateful if you are able to sponsor me.
Thank you.
