* raising funds for Watford General Hospitsl Maternity bereavement room* 

Our perfect boy Theo was born prematurely on the 22nd of July at Watford General Hospital. 

I went unknowingly into early labour at 20 weeks but by the time I got to hospital I was too far gone into my labour for them to do anything to help. I was moved to the bereavement room to be given a peaceful environment for delivery.

As much as I was in the physical pain of labour, the emotional pain was far more excruciating. I had no idea if our child would be delivered alive or not. While going through this I could hear other people giving birth and the bellowing sound of newborns coming into the world. 

Our beautiful boy was born alive and we are so grateful to meet Theo and spend this precious time with him.

While watching him take his last breath, the pain tore through us both as he was leaving us, we could hear a new borns first cry. 

As painful as this is for us, I must express our gratitude for my incredible midwives Jo & Bianca my amazing consultant Mr B and the wonderful Antenatal team, especially Lucy. 

Please contribute anything you can, not only in memory of Theo, but for any other mum/dad/ family member that may be in the same position as us in the future. Having the room sound proof will surely be of some comfort for them to have peace during this painful period.
