Fundraising for Extern
Story
John and I are running the full Belfast Marathon on Sunday 5th of May for Extern to raise money for the charity my mother Mary Ozanne worked for.
She dedicated her life to helping those without a voice and less fortunate than ourselves so I wish to continue this in her name and to celebrate her life :)
Extern offers support for homeless, refugees and those living with the impact of suicide in Northern Ireland.
Her dear friend, Ben Dench, wrote of her:
Thousands of lives have been transformed by Mary's intervention.
She will receive no accolade, no prize, no recognition. No MBE for her. But as her favourite poem the Desiderata says "everywhere life is full of heroism"
