Whilst the thought of a Firewalk terrifies me, I am challenged by the fact that this momentary event bears no comparison to the journey that children/ families go through when they experience trauma. This is just a small part I can play in supporting those who have to go through something far more difficult.

I am passionate about mental health for children and young people and want to see improved access to counselling across Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch. Your donation will enable Relate to reach children and young people in schools and their families with early help for issues including bereavement, abuse, neglect, relationship breakdown and mental health issues. Trauma can lead to both mental and physical illness, but with the right support, children can flourish.
