I am taking part in the Yorkshire Spartan Sprint on September 28th as I would like to raise vital funds for Kidney Research.

My Friend Liz and I are holding a ladies night in our local club to raise even more!!

You can use this JustGiving page to pay for your entry tickets (£5 each) and your raffle tickets (£1 a strip)

Here's why............

My beautiful best friend has suffered with kidney disease since she was 7 years old. She has undergone 3 transplants which have sadly all failed and requires dialysis 3 times a week. 

This horrible debilitating disease is more common than you think. It can affect anyone at anytime.

Kim's life is limited in so many ways from diet and restricted fluid intake to trips out and holidays. 3 times a week she is connected to a dialysis machine for hours at a time. The treatment often leaves her tired and sick not to mention the blood clots and aneurysms she often suffers due to the fistular in her arm.

Kidney Research are working hard to find new treatments all the time. It is my hope that in Kim's lifetime other treatment options are available for her. Every penny counts so please give what ever you can and give Kim and thousands like her a better future! 

The Spartan Sprint took place on 28th September and with all the generous donations I managed to raise a fantastic £331!!!! Thank you all so much!
