I recently passed my 40th birthday milestone and decided to knock something off my bucket list, a half marathon. Now I actually have to do it and I'd be immensely happy if my efforts could raise money for a cause I care very much for, The Cannock and District Foodbank. I've set my target to £400 as it has a 4 and 0 in it but any amount, whether the monetary equivalent of a can of beans or a bag of shopping, will help chivvy me along. I've already put in a fair few miles of training and weirdly I'm looking forward to the challenge. A lot of you know I haven't always been healthy enough to take this on so it's a significant personal milestone (I might cry!)

Nobody ever expects to have to use a food bank, but sadly they have become a necessity for many. Please help me to raise money to help the staff and volunteers carry on their much needed service to people in my local area.
