Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Here's my next challenge...

I lost my wonderful Mum to cancer nearly 3 years ago. I don't know where that time has gone but I do know it's time to undertake another gruelling physical challenge to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK. Spurred on by the tough but remarkable adventure that was "Mt Kili Madness" in 2014, a group of us will spend 12 days in Feb 2017 crossing Central America. We will trek, cycle and kayak circa 300km from the Pacific to the Atlantic coasts of Costa Rica and, in so doing, we will take on highly challenging terrain, volcanoes, deep jungle and grade 5 rapids.

This endeavour follows on from the 2014 challenge of "Mt Kili Madness", where a number of the "Cross Continental Madness" party played the highest ever game of cricket on the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro (5,785m). This time, the team will play one innings of a cricket match on the Pacific Ocean and the second innings on the Atlantic Ocean 12 days later...assuming we all make it!

I know I'm calling on your generosity once again - generosity which saw me raise more than £10,000 in 2014. I will be spurred on in this challenge and in my training by your generosity and by the inspiration of my brave, beautiful Mum.
