I cannot run very well or fast but will try my best on Sunday for the West London Zone as I love the work they do trying to help young people in some of the more deprived areas around where I (and maybe some of you) live.  Hopefully the money I raise will fund a Link Worker who will personally mentor children through a 2 year programme based on their needs and goals for the future. It will also contribute to ensure that each child receives specialist support such as catch up literacy and confidence building. The WLZ will support over 1,300 young people in 42 schools. It is probably the most important time to help as Covid has increased the divide in our area more than ever.  The WLZ does lots of incredible work taking children on school holiday trips, organising activities and trying to give them a better life.
