Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My boyfriend Matthew was diagnosed with testicular cancer very suddenly in February 2016. This was a huge shock for us both as Matt is only 26 years old, and a very fit and healthy person. Cancer has also affected my family in the past so when Matt signed up to run the marathon in Edinburgh, I decided to run too to show that cancer does not define our lives.

Now along with some family and friends, our team is on a mission to complete the marathon, no matter what, and raise as much awareness of the illness, especially testicular cancer among young men! If we raise money along the way too, then that is a bonus. Matt was diagnosed and operated on in less than a week and for that reason, he has chosen MacMillan Cancer Support to say thank you.
