If you would like to make a donation in memory of Clare, she loved cats and made them an integral part of our family life.  She was always concerned about their welfare where ever we lived or visited, she found feline friends.  Bartholomew Humane Society is a dog and cat rescue charity in Columbus Indiana.

On Monday 16-March Clare, my best friend, my lover, my partner, my wife, my future tense died.  She died in the ICU after suffering from septic shock, we don’t know what caused it. 

Violet, Angus and I are left to pick up the pieces of our lives.  We’re at the start of a long journey learning how to make grief part of our lives, who we will be in the future and how to let Clare shine out in the world through us.  At the moment we’re just taking it a day at a time coping with the frequent bouts of debilitating sadness.
