London to Paris Charity Cycle

June 1st 2022 I'll be taking part in a charity ride from London to Paris for Headway.
That is 311 miles across 4 days and whilst I like a bike ride, the furthest I've done is around 50 miles which was followed by some considerable complaining, a very sore bum and zero movement for the days that followed. Anyway, here we are, I've decided to go one step further, cover some serious miles, have horrendous saddle ache but all to raise money for this amazing charity.
For those who don't know, it was in 2012 that my mum suffered a brain hemorrhage and passed away on the 5th of July. With it coming up 10 years in 2022, I thought it would only be right to raise money for Headway - the brain injury association.
A brain injury can challenge every aspect of your life - walking, talking, thinking and feeling - and the losses can be severe and permanent. It can mean losing the life you once lived and the person you once were. Headway provides specialist relief, rehabilitation, and support to those who have suffered a brain injury, along with their family and carers. All with the purpose of helping survivors to readjust and improve their quality of life.
I hugely appreciate all of your support and thank you so much for any donations.
