Guy's Hospital Tower Abseil for Harris Hospice Care · 5 September 2010

St Christopher's Bromley provides specialist palliative care across the borough of Bromley, Kent, for patients with a terminal illness. The specialist teams of doctors, nurses and social workers also provide support and advice to families and carers.

Story

Yes, it is once again a person asking you to dig deep into your paycheck/overdraft/pension/wallet and give them some money.

Please?

As some of you know, I don't have the best head for heights and my abseiling experience is limited to a 30m wall at a PGL summer camp. So obviously it makes perfect sense for me to be planning to descend the tallest building in London that can be abseiled.

The Guy's Hospital Tower stands at 469ft and the abseil takes place between the 34th and 5th floors on Sunday 5th September. Here's hoping for a sunny day! It's in aid of Harris HospisCare who do fantastic work in the Bromley area offering palliative care to terminally ill patients and offering bereavement support to their families. I want to raise at least £250 for them, so would really appreciate any money you can spare.

Thank you in advance.
