Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Sadly the Stroke Association cancelled our abseil down the Northampton Lift Tower, following insurance/safety inspections. This abseil is to replace that event so I can still relieve you of your money  :)

We are free-fall abseiling from the roof of the Manchester Velodrome to the floor of the arena.

If you want to come and watch we'll be here: Manchester Velodrome, National Cycling Centre, Stuart Street, Manchester, Lancashire, M11 4DQ

This fundraiser means a lot to me - my Dad had a stroke in 2009 and life became very difficult over the following two years. From website information, to phone support and the local group he attended, they supported both Dad and my Mum through some tough times.  So this is a thank you for that.
