Clean Kitchen Compassion Burger

Clean Kitchen Club is raising money for Compassion in World Farming

The Compassion Burger · 1 February 2021

The vision of Compassion in World Farming is a world where farm animals are treated with compassion and respect and where cruel factory farming practices end. Our mission is to advance the well being of farm animals worldwide.

Story

We're very proud to see how many people ordered the Compassion Burger from @cleankitchenuk. We raised over £300 in profit to help end the cruel practices of factory farming. Founder Mikey Pearce wants to take that to £1000. He's a huge fan of a challenge so will be running 100KM in 7 days, starting tomorrow. We will be so grateful for any contributions, big or small. 💚🐑

We are thrilled to announce our first charity partner, Compassion in World Farming. We understand and respect that everyone is on their own journey to a more plant-based diet and want to be inclusive as a brand by helping people along the way. That’s why we believe the work that CIWF does is so important. CIWF’s main goal is to bring an end to the cruel nature of factory farming and encourage more compassionate treatment of animals.

We have created The Compassion Burger, inspired by our Clean Kitchen Club mascot, Pumpkin, a rescue sheep that lives on Verity Bowditch's mum’s animal rescue farm! 🐑

The Compassion Burger is a plant-based burger available to order on Deliveroo, with all profits going to CIWF. 🍔💚
