In memory of Emma Woods

Story

On the 13th August 2021 I lost my best friend Emma at 20 years old due to heart surgery complications and it’s left me and so many others completely devastated and heartbroken. We both have Turner Syndrome and we met through the TSSS ,but that was just the beginning of the most amazing friendship. London was a special place for us two and was Em’s favourite city. From theatre, to days at the o2 and Westfields, and parties at her London uni, we ended up making the most special memories there. That’s why when thinking of something to do in memory of her it only seemed right for it to be in London. I’m challenging myself to walk   through London while visiting all of our favourite venues/ spots on her one year anniversary, 13th August 2022. Long walks and fitness have never been my strong point so this is definitely a challenge for me and all the money raised will be going to the TSSS ( Turner Syndrome Support Society). The more money raised, the more research there can be into heart conditions caused by TS and so anything you can give would be so appreciated. I hope I can make her proud and the sun will be shining on the day - thank you in advance for the support.
