Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As many of you know I like to run to help my mental health and right now I am facing the hardest time I have ever encountered. My beautiful daughter Faye aged just 29 recently passed away due to breast cancer at St Luke's hospice Sheffield, leaving behind 2 children Freddie and Marnie my gorgeous grandchildren. No parent should out live their children.

Faye was a beautiful soul, a fantastic mummy and loved helping others. Her diagnosis was delayed and she became sicker quicker than the Dr's predicted and her life was cut way too short. Faye spent 2 weeks been cared for by St Luke's and every single member of staff treated Faye and the family with dignity and respect which is why I want to give something back to thank them for all they did.

I am not fit enough to run the London Marathon this year so have arranged to run the Sheffield 10k on 25th September instead in memory of Faye and hope to raise a little bit to show my appreciation for St Luke's. Faye thanked all the staff herself even during her final days and was happy been cared for in such a lovely environment.

Money will be collected at Faye's funeral to go towards St Luke's hospice or can be done via this link.

Much appreciated Love Clive & Family.
